Help us connect Mason Park to Sims Bayou

We want your help to decide the alignment of the portion of Segment 2 connecting Mason Park to an existing sidepath leading to the Sims Bayou Trail. Follow the steps below to draw your preferred trail alignment and provide additional information to enhance trail development.

Instructions

1. Click "Add Comment" to draw your preferred trail alignment or place a marker on your proposed trail

2. Select "My Ideal Alignment" from the options and use your mouse to draw a path between Mason and Milby Park you think would be ideal for a trail

2. Click the "Add Comment" button again to add elements you think are important along your proposed route. These include:

• "A Place I Go" - places you'd like to be able to get to from your proposed trail alignment
• "Unsafe Crossing" - crossing locations along your proposed trail alignment where you do not feel safe using 
• "Dark at Night" - locations along your proposed trail alignment where lighting is inadequate at night
• "Extremely Hot" - locations along your proposed trail alignment that are very hot during summer months
• "Opportunity Site"- locations along your proposed trail alignment where gathering spaces, places for rest and respite, or beautification could be located or improved 
• "Drainage Issue"- places along your proposed trail alignment that flood during routine rain events or have standing water most days
